Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
CSRF in edit_categorie.php in Warehouse Inventory System 2.0 allows remote attackers to alter categories through an authenticated administrator. The handler accepts a posted category name and updates the selected database row without generating or validating an anti-CSRF token. A level-1 administrator must submit the forged request in an active session; the code shows category modification, while the CVE record describes privilege escalation.
