Database manipulation via injectable medium parameter
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Mar 20, 2025
SQL injection in dtmarks.php in School Management System through commit bae5aa allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries. The handler incorporates the POST medium value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, and the published sqlmap request demonstrates injection. Network reachability is the only published gate; successful exploitation permits reading, changing, or deleting database data and interrupting service.
