Database query manipulation via unparameterized book identifier
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 20, 2024
SQL injection in admin_modify_room.php in vaibhavverma9999 Hotel Management System commit 91caab8 allows remote attackers to alter SQL queries. The page interpolates the book_id request value directly into a SELECT statement without parameterization before submitting it to MySQL. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient; injected SQL runs in the application's database context and can read or modify data or interrupt database-backed operations.
