Unauthenticated SQL injection via interpolated room type
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
SQL injection in vaibhavverma9999 Hotel Management System commit 91caab8 allows remote attackers to alter database queries via admin_room_removed.php. The endpoint inserts the POSTed rooms value directly into the quoted room_type predicate of an UPDATE statement and executes the resulting SQL without parameterization. The endpoint contains no session or authorization check, so unauthenticated network access is sufficient to manipulate rooms_count data.
