Low-integrity table writes via unauthorized function call
Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Missing authorization in SAP Shared Service Framework SAP_BS_FND 702, 731, 746, 747, and 748 allows remote authenticated users to write table entries. A remote-enabled function fails to enforce administrative authorization before inserting attacker-supplied values into a non-sensitive table. Any authenticated non-administrative account can make the call, but the documented consequence is limited to low-integrity modification of application data.
