CVE-2024-42364Network attack vector

Private data disclosure via DNS rebinding

Published Aug 23, 2024 · Updated Aug 23, 2024

DNS rebinding in Homepage 0.9.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read private dashboard data through a victim's browser. The default HTTP service accepts requests after an attacker-controlled hostname is rebound to its intranet address, without authentication, TLS, or Host-header validation. Exploitation requires a user on the same intranet as the instance to visit the attacker-controlled site; exposed data depends on configured integrations.
