Authenticated data disclosure via unsanitized instance parameter
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Sep 3, 2024
SQL injection in Apache HertzBeat 1.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through a crafted instance parameter. HistoryTdEngineDataStorage inserts the instance value into a formatted SQL string without sanitization before Statement.executeQuery runs it. Any admin, user, or guest account can reach the endpoint, and the reported consequence is information disclosure from the configured TDengine database.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
