Protected data disclosure via skipped ManyToMany filtering
Published Aug 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
Improper access control in Shopware before 6.5.8.13 and 6.6.0.0 through 6.6.5.0 allows remote attackers to read protected data. SalesChannelRepository::processCriteria tracked processed definitions without association paths and skipped ManyToMany join definitions, bypassing ApiAware filtering. Exploitation requires an extension with a reachable ManyToMany association and user interaction; default Shopware entities do not expose the flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=<= 6.5.8.12

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
