Internal service data exposure via URL host replacement
Published Aug 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
SSRF in Nuxt Icon before 1.4.5 allows remote attackers to read data from attacker-selected or internal HTTP services. The /api/_nuxt_icon/[name] handler passes a basename beginning with http: to new URL without forcing relative resolution, so the parsed URL can replace the configured API host. The endpoint must be enabled through fallbackToApi; static builds and Cloudflare Workers are not affected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
