CVE-2024-42325

Authenticated user-data disclosure via overbroad user.get results

Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Improper authorization in the Zabbix API user.get method allows remote authenticated users to read other users’ account and media data. CUser.get returns every user sharing a group with the caller and fails to restrict output fields such as media and login-attempt details to the requesting account. Low-privilege API access is required, and exposure is limited to information about users in a group shared with the caller.
