External path control in Edgecross Basic Software 1.00 and later allows local users to execute code by opening a malicious project file. Real-time Flow Designer launches the program path stored in project-controlled execution feedback settings without restricting it to a trusted file. Exploitation requires user interaction and can disclose, alter, or delete data or interrupt the service.
