Kernel-memory exhaustion via leaked DRM sync objects

Memory leak in the V3D timestamp extension in Linux 6.8 through 6.10.3 and 6.11-rc1 allows local users to exhaust kernel memory. The timestamp-query setup loop retains every DRM sync object acquired before a userspace-memory fetch fails because its error path omits drm_syncobj_put. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access to the V3D DRM interface, and repeated failures can deny service by depleting kernel memory.
