Local service interruption via unlocked CacheFiles request traversal

Improper locking in CacheFiles in Linux kernel 6.8 through 6.9.9 allows local users to interrupt service during on-demand polling. In cachefiles_daemon_poll, an RCU read lock pins only the xarray slot while the routine dereferences an unpinned cachefiles_req, allowing its lifetime to race with iteration. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and CacheFiles on-demand mode; published sources do not specify whether availability loss appears as a crash or hang.
