Arbitrary file download in HCL BigFix Patch Management Download Plug-ins 1177 and earlier allows local users to fetch attacker-chosen URLs. The plug-ins accept operator-supplied download URLs without validation or an allowlist, then retrieve content from arbitrary locations. An operator account and additional user interaction are required, and the published impact is limited to confidentiality exposure.
