Authenticated configuration disclosure via unchecked HTTP endpoints
Published Oct 16, 2024 · Updated Oct 16, 2024
Missing authorization checks in OpenText Application Automation Tools 24.1.0 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to list ALM job settings. HTTP endpoints backing ALM job configuration doFill*Items methods return configured server names, usernames, and client IDs without an Item/Configure permission check. Overall/Read access is sufficient; the reported consequence is limited to disclosure of those stored configuration identifiers.
