Local denial of service via uninitialized diagnostic field

Use of uninitialized data in affected Linux kernel releases allows local users to interrupt availability through a raw-socket diagnostic request. inet_diag_get_exact_compat converts an older request into inet_diag_req_v2 without initializing its pad field, which raw_lookup then reads as sdiag_raw_protocol. Low-privileged local access and a crafted socket-diagnostic message are required; no confidentiality or integrity effect is reported.
