Local kernel compromise via unchecked JIT protection failure

Improper memory protection in Linux 6.2 through 6.9.7 allows local users to compromise the kernel through BPF JIT compilation. bpf_jit_binary_lock_ro() discarded set_memory_rox() failures, so JIT output could remain writable and executable or be marked usable while non-executable. An unprivileged local account can reach the path through socket-filter, seccomp, or bpf system calls; successful triggering enables kernel code execution or a kernel panic.
