SYSTEM code execution via writable DLL path

Privilege escalation in Splashtop Streamer for Windows before 3.6.0.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM during MSI repair. A repair-launched executable searches a user-writable folder under %TEMP% for version.dll and loads an attacker-supplied proxy DLL with SYSTEM privileges. Exploitation requires a reusable or restorable original MSI and the ability to force product reinstallation, after which the DLL gains complete SYSTEM-level control.
