Code injection in Progress Telerik Reporting before 18.1.24.514 allows local users to execute code through a malicious assembly. The Reporting engine loads a custom replacement assembly during communication between a desktop viewer and a remote engine, causing embedded code to run. Exploitation requires high privileges to replace a Telerik Reporting assembly and user interaction that triggers the viewer-engine workflow.
