CVE-2024-42013

Password bypass via patchable client-side login check

Published Jan 22, 2025 · Updated Feb 4, 2025

Incorrect authorization in GRAU DATA Blocky before 3.1 allows local users to bypass the Blocky-Gui password login. Blocky-Gui enforces the password requirement only in patchable client code, so altering the binary in memory or on disk removes the login gate. Windows administrative or debugging privileges are required, after which every program function becomes accessible.
