Command execution via auto-opened Docker subshell
Published Oct 14, 2024 · Updated Oct 16, 2024
Command injection in Warp Terminal before 2024.07.18 allows context-dependent attackers to execute commands through a crafted Docker link. The Docker open_subshell URI handler treated attacker-controlled link data as an executable subshell action without first requiring command confirmation. Exploitation requires the macOS-only Docker extension and a victim click; the injected command runs with the victim's account privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
