CVE-2024-41974Network attack vector

BACnet service disruption via weak configuration permissions

Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025

Incorrect permissions in WAGO controller firmware allow remote authenticated users to alter BACnet service properties through SSH. The embedded Linux system fails to enforce the administrator-only restriction shown by the web interface, leaving BACnet configuration writable to user-level accounts. User-level SSH access is required, and disabling or changing the service can interrupt BACnet communication without affecting other device functions.
