Service interruption via unauthorized Docker settings change
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Aug 27, 2025
Missing authorization in WAGO device Docker settings allows remote authenticated users to interrupt containerized services. The Web-Based Management frontend marks the administrator-only Docker Settings tab read-only for regular users, but its backend accepts a crafted HTTP request from a valid user session and changes whether Docker runs. Low-privileged access is required, and the resulting impact is limited to service interruption within affected Docker containers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
