Authenticated code execution via inherited SSH environment

Command injection in Charmbracelet Soft Serve before 0.7.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through Git over SSH. The SSH gitRunE path appends every client-supplied session environment variable to the environment of Git subprocesses, including LD_PRELOAD. A user with repository write access can upload a shared object through Git LFS, predict its hash-based path, and preload it when an SSH Git command starts.
