Credential exposure in FOG Project before 1.5.10.41 allows local users to compromise the web application through service credentials. The installer leaves plaintext database service credentials in /opt/fog/.fogsettings with permissions that allow every host user to read the file. Low-privileged host access is sufficient to connect to the local database and create a web application account, enabling unauthorized application access and changes.
