Stored HTML injection in affected ZITADEL releases allows remote attackers to alter registration emails and Console UI content. Email template arguments were rendered without HTML escaping, and Console bound usernames through innerHTML instead of text interpolation. Exploitation requires a recipient or Console user to view the stored content; email-client controls and Console CSP block reported script execution, but attacker-chosen HTML and links still render.
