Path traversal in Siemens SINEC NMS before 3.0 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary certificate files over the network. The importCertificate function fails to constrain a certificate path to its intended directory before performing the file-deletion operation. Exploitation requires high-privilege application access; it affects certificate-file integrity and service availability without reported data disclosure.
