Arbitrary PHP package installation via unchecked identifiers
Published Jul 30, 2024 · Updated Mar 18, 2025
Improper plugin-install input validation in affected EC-CUBE 4 releases allows remote authenticated administrators to install arbitrary PHP packages. OwnerStoreController passes unchecked pluginCode and version values into Composer package specifications, permitting selection beyond intended plugins. Administrative privileges and plugin-install endpoint access are required; an installed package can expose the server to vulnerabilities in that package.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
