Cached-response data disclosure and modification
Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Cache handling in Siemens SINEC Traffic Analyzer before 2.0 allows remote attackers to read and modify locally cached data. The web service improperly treats HTTP responses as cacheable, leaving response data readable and mutable in a local cache. Exploitation is unauthenticated over the network, requires particular conditions, and is limited to cached data without reported service interruption.
