Authenticated browser script execution via stored form input
Published Aug 23, 2024 · Updated Oct 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through vulnerable form fields. Adobe states that crafted form-field content is stored and later executed as JavaScript in a victim's browser, but identifies no specific field or code locus. Low privileges and victim navigation to the page containing the field are required; resulting script execution can read or alter browser-accessible data.
