Sensitive memory disclosure via out-of-bounds read
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 14, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Substance 3D Sampler 4.5 and earlier allows attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser or the specific operation that reads beyond its valid memory bounds. A victim must open the file; exposure is limited to memory disclosure that can reveal data used to bypass ASLR.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
