Code execution via malicious-file integer overflow
Published Aug 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 15, 2024
Integer overflow in Adobe InDesign 19.4 and 18.5.2 and earlier allows attackers to execute code after a user opens a malicious file. Adobe identifies an integer wraparound during malicious-file processing but has not disclosed the parser, malformed field, or resulting memory operation. Exploitation requires user interaction and runs code with the current user's privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
