Application crash via NULL pointer dereference
Published Jul 23, 2024 · Updated Dec 12, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in Adobe InDesign 18.5.2 and earlier and 19.3 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to crash the application. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file parser, function, or the invalid pointer operation triggered by crafted file content. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file, and the documented consequence is an application crash that interrupts the user's session.
