Unauthorized form actions via defaulted missing token
Published Aug 5, 2024 · Updated Aug 6, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Icinga ipl/web before 0.10.1 allows remote authenticated users to bypass request-intent validation. The CsrfCounterMeasure trait assigns a generated token as the form element default, so an omitted CSRFToken can validate against that default instead of submitted request data. Exploitation requires high privileges and victim interaction; resulting actions are limited by the victim session and the consuming form.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
