Unverified password change in Siemens SENTRON 7KT PAC1260 Data Manager allows remote attackers to set the login password via CSRF. The web interface accepts a new login password without validating the current password, while CVE-2024-41795 supplies the cross-site request forgery path. An administrator must follow an attacker-prepared link while logged in, after which the attacker controls the device login credential.
