Use of hard-coded credentials in all Siemens SENTRON 7KT PAC1260 Data Manager versions allows remote attackers to gain root access over SSH. The device operating system embeds credentials that authenticate remote SSH sessions directly with root privileges. Exploitation requires possession of the embedded credentials and an enabled SSH service, after which the attacker obtains full control of the appliance.
