Account compromise via weak default password validation

Weak password requirements in IBM Controller 11.0.0 through 11.0.1 and 11.1.0 allow attackers to compromise accounts via weak passwords. Native password validation accepts passwords as short as three alphanumeric characters without case sensitivity unless an administrator forces a longer length. The affected default native-authentication configuration lowers resistance to password guessing, exposing data available to a compromised account.
