Hard-coded credentials in IBM Cognos Controller 11.0.0 and 11.0.1 allow remote attackers to obtain sensitive information over the network. The product embeds a password or cryptographic key for authentication, external-component communication, or internal-data encryption, but IBM has not disclosed the credential's locus or use path. Network access requires no prior authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is sensitive-information disclosure without modification or interruption.
