Authenticated baseline archiving via missing authorization
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
Improper access control in IBM Global Configuration Management 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to archive a global baseline. The baseline-archive operation fails to enforce the permissions required to change a global baseline's archival state. Low-privileged authenticated access is sufficient to alter baseline state; no confidentiality or service-interruption impact is reported.
