Authenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Jan 4, 2025 · Updated Jan 6, 2025
Path traversal in IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Publishing 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files. URL path processing fails to neutralize /../ sequences before resolving a crafted request outside the restricted directory. A valid low-privilege session is required, and disclosure is limited to files readable by the application-server account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
