Cross-site scripting in Trellix EDR UI (XConsole) before May 17, 2024 allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. The console insufficiently neutralizes attacker-controlled command-line variables before placing them in browser-rendered content, enabling XSS or HTML injection. Exploitation requires console privileges and an end user to follow a crafted link, with the published vendor assessment limiting direct impact to browser-context integrity.
