CVE-2024-41753Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unneutralized Web UI JavaScript

Published May 3, 2025 · Updated Aug 28, 2025

Cross-site scripting in IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation 24.0.0 and 24.0.1 allows remote attackers to disclose session credentials. Business Automation Insights Core renders attacker-controlled JavaScript as executable Web UI content without adequate output neutralization; IBM has not identified the affected endpoint or parameter. Injection requires no authentication, but script execution requires a user to load the affected content in a trusted session, where page behavior and credentials can be exposed.
