CVE-2024-41750

Authenticated data manipulation via bypassed client-side validation

Published Jul 23, 2025 · Updated Aug 18, 2025

Client-side security bypass in IBM Operations Analytics - Log Analysis allows local authenticated users to manipulate data. The allowable-character restrictions are enforced only in the client, so altered requests can submit values that the interface rejects without an equivalent server-side check. A local account and authentication are required, and successful exploitation permits unauthorized changes to application data without reported disclosure or service interruption.
