Denial of service in IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms 10.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt service with slow HTTP reads. The web-service request path fails to enforce a timeout on each individual read, allowing slow connections to retain server resources. No authentication or user interaction is required; sustained network connections can exhaust service capacity without reported data disclosure or modification.
