Unauthenticated account enumeration via registration and login
Published Aug 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 13, 2024
Information disclosure in SAP Commerce HY_COM 2205 and COM_CLOUD 2211 allows remote attackers to identify registered e-mail addresses. Registration and login processing reveals whether an e-mail belongs to a valid account, but SAP has not published the specific response difference or code path responsible. No authentication is required, but an attacker must already know each e-mail to test; the result discloses account existence and no other customer data.
