Command injection in Mitel SIP Phones through 6.4.0.136 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands as root. The linemgrSip web application decodes %dt in the 802.1x identity field as a line break, allowing injected hostname configuration to become shell syntax during boot. Administrative access to the Mitel Web UI and a reboot are required; successful exploitation modifies local configuration and grants root command execution.
