CVE-2024-41705Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unneutralized application data

Published Jul 25, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024

Stored XSS in Archer Platform before 2024.06 allows remote authenticated users to run injected script in victim browsers. Archer has not disclosed the affected input field or code path; the platform stores attacker-supplied HTML or JavaScript without sufficient neutralization and renders it from a trusted application data store. A malicious Archer account must save the payload and a victim must view the stored data, after which the script runs in the vulnerable application's browser context and can read or alter exposed application data.
