Improper login-attempt restriction in Siemens Location Intelligence before 4.4 allows remote attackers to brute-force user passwords. The authentication path does not adequately limit repeated failed login attempts, but Siemens has not disclosed the specific control or implementation error. No authentication or user interaction is required; repeated guesses can disclose a legitimate user's password and enable access as that user.
