Improper privilege management in affected Argo CD releases allows remote authenticated users to retain web-terminal access after revocation. The terminalSession WebSocket authorizes exec/create during setup but does not recheck RBAC before processing each client message. The web terminal must be enabled, the user must first receive exec/create permission, and the connection must remain open; revoked users retain pod operations and sensitive-data access.
