Browser script execution via unvalidated successUrl redirect
Published Aug 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 21, 2024
Reflected XSS in Casdoor 1.577.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted payment URL. QrCodePage.js copies the successUrl query parameter into component state and passes it without validation to Setting.goToLink after payment completes. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted link and complete a purchase, enabling actions in the signed-in browser context.
